No alts, no defined borders, and it is probably doomed to failure......but that didn't stop the Germans when they bombed Pearl Harbor.

I think it would work if folks are mature enough to follow the simple rules

you should block off a 15x15 block radius of the map with fences and notify all players to not break them. That way players in the competition know not to leave that area or be disqualified, this would also limit the amount of players being killed by players not participating in the competition, and players not participating cannot enter the arena

Being killed by an NPC or non registered player doesn't count.  Playing area will not be restricted unless the tournament goes over one month, at which time the referee may choose to start limiting playing areas.

Are we allowing people to hide in the sewers, sublevel z, QZ and Sparrow Island? I should think that we're not allowed to enter those places.

also a follow up to my border questions, if you are killed by non registered players it would lead to humans being turned to zombies and at a disadvantage if they are only focused on being human, also it would leave a dead body there but noone would know who it is and if they dont have an injector the name wont popup making it unfair to the people who are going after that person because they wouldnt be able to kill said opponent

At this time, all areas are within the playable area.  If the tournament drags on for too long, the referees may decide to limit the playing field.  For example, after 1 month all below ground areas will be out of bounds.

Being killed by a non player is a game hazard, if you don't want to be zedded then get good.

As far as getting killed and not standing up.....that is clearly against the not going dormant rule and will result in being disqualified.

This idea grossly violates the intent of the tournament and you should be ashamed of yourself for thinking of it.   :fencing:
You may not use proxies to aid in your game play.  Per the definitions: "proxy- guild/clan member or other you enlist to aid your victory".
After much consideration, I would have to say alliances of this sort are forbidden.

Perhaps you should add a finalized roster for the tournament in the original post?

You are good.  I haven't gotten to it yet, but there will be a new thread with a roster and we will use that to post your kill shots and copy pastas.

The question i had must be more clarified. If someone is offline. Because noone can play 24/7 and they are killed by a non registered player, it would leave their body on the ground. They wouldn't know they are dead so until they log on, they will lay on the ground dead. This would make registered players unable to find them and kill them because they are already dead until they log on. This would cause problems with the gameplay of the match as people killed by non tournament players would end up getting disqualified though they dont know they are breaking a rule because they have no idea they are dead. (Now a question) if you are killed by a non registered player/noc and are zedded and you ask for a revive and are killed by a registered player, does that count as a death or not? Just need to clarify before i shout out rez at redemption.

In order to keep this going smoothly and quickly, just ask a group mate or friend to revive you, so being eliminated on redemption, or anywhere (for now) can't be debated.

You must log in every day during the tournament or you are out.  No going dormant to avoid the competition.  Going dormant includes logging in and being killed to intentionally keep from being found.  If this happens the referee may disqualify the player.

Being killed by an NPC or non player is a game hazard.  Per the rules you must log in at least once per day.  Part of that logging in is being active, which means standing up if you are dead.  Remaining dead to avoid detection is considered going dormant and is a disqualifing  action.  The occasional death from an NPC or non player is going to happen and as long as you make a good faith effort to stay "available" you are fine.

If you call out your position for a revive and are killed by a tournement player you are out and should be ashamed of yourself.
