Future Tournament Ideas - Add As You Wish

Since the tournament seems to have a decent amount of players in it right now, we should all come up with ideas, rules, etc., for the hosts of the tournaments to take into consideration. It would be a great way to get feedback on players experiences and expectations for things like these in the future!

Like if it is possible, make a map unaccesible to players unless they register for the tournament. The map would have strong bosses, to get good loot from, but are difficult to defeat. I/E Mutated Mantis Brute :150 HP: Wears Mantis Tier Military Armor (Which Protects for 8-10 Armor Max To The Head/ Groin); Mantis Tier Military Helmet (Protects for 3-5 Armor To The Head): Uses Mantis Mutated Mandible For 11 Damage And Is A Blunt Weapon: Has A Chance to drop any ONE of the above; A Lazarix Case with one completely filled injector and 3 revival serum; 3-5 Surgical Kits; 2-3 Assault Rifle Clips: When someone is fighting a boss it whenever the Brute attacks it would make a "tremor" alerting for a 10 Block Radius pointing other players to the direction of the fight and the players would have to either team up to take it down, or kill the other player and loot the beast yourself. As in all the other tournaments ,I presume, it would be 1 death and you are out. I understand this would be EXTREMELY hard to do, I understand, but it would be worth waiting for if someone worked on this. It would also keep newbies to the game from getting caught up in the tournament and killing a contestant. As well as allowing players a chance to find good but not OP weapons.

You should probly avoid things that require new items/areas/NPC's to be added.

A more feasible idea would be a series of HR related clues given by specific players at specific locations. Each clue would lead to the next player that holds the next clue.

There are a lot of limitations on what can and can't be done, especially with little to no support from Mams and Mo.  To be fair to them it would require a lot of work for just a handful of players that would participate.  So having said that, I don't want to discourage anyone from running their own events.

The current tournament is running much better than I thought it would.  The players have really made this easy to do by following the spirit of the rules.  So the most important thing I've learned is to keep it fairly simple.  Second thing, limit the playing area if you want to keep the tournament time to a reasonable length.  Third, time it to run when there are people playing and no other events in progress.  The second annual There Can Be Only One tournament will probably be in April or May.

Again this isn't stuff im saying should happen it is stuff that could happen. All speculation and ideas from the community. Its just for fun and to throw stuff out there. Hell, someone could say something like. We should all dress as bananas and the first one to wear say orange wins XD
