Patch Notes

October 30, 2013


Features

Fires will now randomly hurt players inside with them, based on how big they are.
Fires now prevent players from searching or hiding if they are too big.
Players now receive a message indicating if someone inside with them is extinguishing/stoking a fire.
A new search filter for ammo only has been added.
NPCs now have new spawn options and a setting to open or not open doors.

Bug Fixes

Fixed NPC counterattacks.
Changed NPC chatter chance to 15% instead of 33% because they're kind of annoying.
When trying to move to another tile while inside a building, it will now just stick you outside.
Can move from building to building with Rooftop Run, even if the door is closed.
Sounds and notices should use the correct gmt_offset now.
Game was fetching tile info from the database once more than necessary.
Removed Herobrine.

All the bullets and tabs and stuff! IT'S RUINED.

Also I plead the fifth on the subject of Herobrine. Also the NPC stuff is NOT INTENDED FOR PLAYERS. But it is unimportant.

When trying to move to another tile while inside a building, it will now just stick you outside.

Does this mean it sticks you outside of the building you're in? So you have to actually click 'exit' (or, I assume, click on the tile again) to leave a building before moving off to another tile?

I'm also assuming the ammo filter includes serum as well.

The fire stuff sounds awesome though. Now we can actually raze enemy territory. The joy!

Well, you see, maybe I was assuming too much, but it seemed to me that it was skipping the whole Exit portion and thus allowed you to save 1 AP by exiting and moving at the same time. Thus I have nerfed it. Take out your torches and pitchforks.

And, uh, no, it doesn't currently include serum because it isn't considering ammo at the moment.

And, uh, no, it doesn't currently include serum because it isn't considering ammo at the moment.

Could it perhaps be made so that it does? It's really annoying to try and find serum and have to drop 12 injectors before you find 3 vials of it.

Also you're right about the exit-and-move thing. I like the change.

I don't know anything about that. I just used the code that locks someone for healing, so if it locks someone for healing the same group, it'll do that here, too. *shrug*
