Well, there was the idea of having different skill pools to choose from... I was thinking that would help with having people be more unique, but I didn't want to say anything about it because I didn't want to end up working on it. :-X

I guess there's always the option of spawning a different version on another site, too.

That was an option? Wouldn't hosting so many things be a strain on you when there's really no potential income from the games? Sorry if i'm being really nosy here or completely ignorant to how webhosting works.

@Tyr i get what you mean regarding humans but it really wouldn't feel true undead horror game style then since traditionally survivors are outnumbered in such things. I guess you're aware of that though.

Well, some scripts take a huge toll while others don't. HR's is pretty big I guess, but there used to also be Scroll Wars, which got a LOT more usage due to having no AP.
If I should live until I wake, I pray the web my death to fake.

I figured it would be supplemented with loads of neat-o undead NPCs and whatever incarnation players take on.

Maybe steal L4D's ideas and have players transform into special infected with unique abilities that parallel their human class with hordes of ordinary undead NPCs roaming around on top.

Idea. Items which change the version of undead you are. Like a vial you inject yourself with, and you change to such version of undead. I like the idea of stealing L4D's zombs idea, and I also have an idea for humans, and vampires. For vampires it would be versions. Like. Blade version vamps, 30 days/night, and classic vamp. For humans it would be you're build. Like there would be skinniest. Which would revolve around the idea of more ap/ less health, and less damage with melee. Medium. Which is like now. Fat. Less ap, but more health, and stronger hits. Builds could be based on some item. I think this would make the game interesting without adding things that other classes couldn't use. Such as money, and a trade system.

As far as what kind of undead you turn into goes, I was thinking it be directly related to what skills and abilities you have as a human. That way levelling up as a human would have a purpose (beyond becoming a better human player) since you wouldn't be able to do it as undead. It also makes sense for your human traits to carry over and morph into undead traits. This is of course going along with the human-centric game version.

It would make it so that people sort of retain their play-style even when transformed, and hopefully prevent people from feeling like they've been screwed by turning undead like people tend to think now when they get yanked from their preferred race. You could have zombies and vampires separated by specific criteria that govern which of the two you turn into based on what abilities you have as a human--which would of course mean you need formulas for this kind of thing.

I think more human things would be awesome ,
But in truth the game isn't balanced , giving vamps more
Skills would be worse , I mean , a lot of ppl say , vamps are easy
Zed are med , and humans are hard , so if you add human things
That would not make undead a side line class , cuz they are already
Powerfull , and hard to play against

I hope I'm not to late to put in a suggestion but what about a trade and barter system and slavery (And of course you can escape slavery :D) just sayin cause raider groups coming to enslave everyone would be intense.
