I am currently reading Fleet of Worlds. It's part of The Ringworld series by Larry Niven. I have really enjoyed the series so far.

I'm currently reading A Song of Ice and Fire series.

... It's going incredibly slow because I only read a couple chapters every few days (sometimes weeks) before bed.

I prefer the books to the HBO Game of Thrones series.
where am i

Don't judge but I'm about halfway through The Last Unicorn. I just loved the animated version so much as a kid I had to check out the book, and there's so much stuff the movie left out, including the spider(oh god the spider made me cry), and the beautiful imagery. Not to mention the demented love-tree seemed less scary in the movie.

I'm also reading Anna Dressed in Blood for a book report I have to write, and if it wasn't for its cliche forced romance plotline, I might actually like it. Sadly though its a rehash of the "oh, ah, we can't be 2gether becuz one of us is ded so sad forbidden love desu" trope and I can't read more than a chapter at a time because it irks me so much.

(((And Looking for Alaska is but one more of John Green's masterpieces. I liked that one a lot.)))

I don't think there's ever been an instance where forbidden love was a good plot point.

Even Romeo and Juliet.

Romeo and Juliet is by far the worst Shakespearean play I've ever read.

Plot in it? Simple.
Melodramatic bullshit via Romeo lack luster character development for Juliet love more melodrama suicide done. Mercutio and Tybalt were the only cool characters and they die in the same fucking act.

Good book and I couldn't put it down, but I realized half way through that none of the characters were people I'd ever respect in life unless the main character let me punch him on the regular.

Iii recently started Rise to Rebellion by Jeff Shaara.
Only just getting to General Gage's first appearance, but I really like it, so far.
